Avionics Technician

_ El Segundo, CA

As an Avionics Technician you will perform a variety of tasks to support avionics assembly and production for flight and ground hardware

Responsibilities:

  • PCBA assembly/rework – thru-hole and surface-mount soldering
  • Wire harness production and rework
  • Assembly and testing of avionics components
  • Determine optimal part workflow and fabrication tooling if necessary
  • Maintain electronic equipment and tools
  • Provide feedback and ideas for design improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 4+ years of work experience in avionics, aircraft, or automotive industry
  • Skilled in the use of typical electronic equipment and hand tools (soldering, crimping, measurement devices)
  • Ability to interpret designs and drawings to build complete assemblies
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on electrical systems
  • Experience with development and productions parts

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in aerospace, motorsports, or other relevant manufacturing field
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule and willing to travel as needed
